Takes place during July 4
Rob Lowe, Crispin Glover and Roselyn Sanchez will star in the new film Terror “The Third Parent”, based on the popular CreepyPasta series of the author Elias Witherow.
The film takes place during July 4, when a creepy figure named Tommy Taffy (gloveers) “appears in human form with the aim of penetrating a quiet neighborhood and imposing its authoritarian domination on an unsuspecting family.”
Bleecker Street will take over its release in North America after the recent acquisition of distribution rights by Walters Media Group.
The project marks the film debut of producer David Michaels who also signs the script. Producers of the film are Gary Michael Walters via Walters Media Group, Lowe and Spencer Young for Enfant Terrible and Daniel Kresmery and Jonathan Halperyn Halperyn for Halperyn (Daniel Kresmery) Squared.
“Glover’s Tommy Taffy will be the new big bad,” Bleecker Street’s Kent Sanderson said in a statement, he said in the EIA RES.
“With Gary’s incredible work as a producer, David’s powerful vision and focusing on the fascinating interpretations of Rob Loo and Roslin Sanchez, we believe this will be a unique horror cinematic experience,” they added.
