The temperature is at high levels for the season
The National Meteorological Service requests the attention of the citizens, after the update of the emergency notice of deterioration weatheras there will be heavy rains and storms in several regions of the country.
Specifically, on the islands of the eastern Aegean and the Dodecanese there will be local rains and in the Dodecanese sporadic storms, which in the morning hours will be strong in places. Gradually the phenomena will be limited to the Dodecanese and will weaken. In the rest of the regions, there will be local rains in the west, the Cyclades and Crete.
From the evening hours, storms will occur in the northern Ionian Sea and Epirus, which will be strong in places, while the rains will intensify in the west and extend to the north.
Winds will blow from west directions 3 to 5 and from the evening hours in the Ionian local 6 Beaufort.
The temperature will drop slightly and will reach 20 to 22 degrees, in the central and southern mainland 23 degrees and in the southeastern island country 25 degrees Celsius.

Weather: Generally sunny with a few temporary clouds.
Winds: West southwest 3 to 4 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 12 to 22 degrees Celsius.
THESSALONIKI
Weather: A few clouds which will gradually increase and local rains will occur in the evening hours.
Winds: Variable 3 to 4 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 09 to 19 degrees Celsius.
MACEDONIA, THRACE
Weather: A few clouds locally increasing initially in western Macedonia and gradually in the rest of the regions. Local rains will occur from midday hours in western Macedonia and from the evening hours gradually in the rest of the regions.
Winds: From the west and gradually from the south directions 3 to 5 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 08 to 20 degrees Celsius. In western Macedonia it will be 4 to 5 degrees lower.
IONIAN ISLANDS, EPIROS, WEST STEREA, WEST PELOPONNISOS
Weather: Temporarily increased clouds with a few local rains. From the evening hours, storms will occur in the northern Ionian and Epirus, which will be strong in places, while the rains will intensify in the rest of the regions.
Winds: West southwest 3 to 5 and in the evening hours in the Ionian locally 6 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 13 to 23 degrees Celsius. In the interior of Epirus 5 to 6 degrees lower.
EASTERN STEREA, EVIA, EASTERN PELOPONNISOS
Weather: Generally sunny with a few temporary clouds. In the evening hours a gradual increase in clouds.
Winds: From west directions 3 to 5 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 11 to 23 degrees Celsius.
CYCLADES, CRETE
Weather: A few clouds temporarily increased with light local rains.
Winds: West southwest 3 to 5 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 16 to 24 and in Crete up to 25 degrees Celsius.
EAST AEGEAN ISLANDS – DODECANISE
Weather: Temporarily increased clouds with local rains and in the Dodecanese sporadic storms, which in the morning hours will be strong in places. Gradually the phenomena will be limited to the Dodecanese and will weaken.
Winds: West southwest and gradually south southwest 3 to 5 Beaufort.
