He returns with a new look, a new song and of course, new dance moves
The three-time Grammy Award-winning singer and songwriter Shakirareturns to the big screen and lends her voice to Gazelle in Disney’s highly anticipated Zootopia 2 (or Zoopolis in Greek). The news was announced at D23 in Brazil.
“I am here to tell you great news. Are you ready? Gazelle returns in ‘Zootopia 2’. Exactly. Gazelle is back with a new look, a new song and of course, new dance moves. Wait to see what she has in store with her tiger dancers. I know you will love it. That’s all I can share with you for now and I can’t wait to see you all on my tour next year and in the movies next November,” the Colombian singer who has also won 14 Latin Grammy Awards said in a video.
Directed and written by Byron Howard and Jared Bush. The sequel follows Judy Hopps as she teams up with a flamboyant fox named Nick Wilde on a highly dangerous and complicated case. The first film of 2016 to gross more than $1 billion worldwide took home the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature.
“Zootopia 2” is expected to open in theaters on November 26, 2025.
