“I want my guest to feel good,” the presenter told the popular actor
Giorgos Souxes was a guest on the show “Eleni” on Friday afternoon, who was moved from the beginning of the interview, watching the dedicated video that was played on air for him.
“I saw you laugh, hide, cry… You are a normal person with genuine, true reactions,” Eleni Menegaki told him immediately after the relevant excerpt was shown. “I’ll tell you something… I had a very nice suit, but I didn’t wear it, because it was like playing a part. I came with my everyday things”, Giorgos Souxes answered her with tears in his eyes.
“You did very well, because when we are here in my space, I want the other person next to me to feel good and, when he doesn’t know me, I want us to take our time and he doesn’t even think about what to wear, where to look, what can i say, nothing. This way, we will get to know each other”, commented Eleni Menegaki.
“I am a lonely person, that’s why I was moved by the video you prepared for me, it was my whole life, which was not easy. The whole journey was difficult, because it’s a job where you take exams every day. The truth is that I am lucky, because I like this job and I do it with great joy,” said Giorgos Souxes about his professional path.
To a question about what his professional aspirations are and whether he has achieved them, he answered: “I was very grounded and I knew that Greece is a small country, not everyone can be protagonists. Reading the life of Lambros Constantaras, that he became famous at the age of 50, I think I can do it too. Simply, you have to do your job properly and consistently.”
The actor said that since he was very young he wanted to be an actor. Later, in fact, he revealed speaking to Eleni that he has not studied acting. Regarding the roles he has played, he said that most of the ones he has done are good ones. Mr. Suxes also spoke about the participation in the successful series of MEGA “The Shipwreck” and the role he has, that of “Papa-Grigoris”. “It is a very well-structured scripted series. My difficulty in the role is that I have to play a priest who really believes in God, while he has become the world’s greatest sin in his own house.”
At this point, Giorgos Souxe even described that at some point in his life he almost drowned: “Me, my father, my three brothers and a cousin took a sea bike and set out. My cousin didn’t know how to swim at all and I don’t know how he came to jump into the sea. I fell into the sea to save him, he was caught and we were going down. Fortunately, a boat came and saved us.”
