A 48 -year -old was found dead today, the father of three children, in a village in the Municipality of Archanes – Asterousia at Heraklion. According to his first information nea kritithe tragic incident occurred between 2 and 3 noon.
The news caused shock and sadness in the local community, as locals heard the shot and rushed to see what had happened.
The man was found inside his home, carrying a chest trauma from a hunting shotgun. Authorities are investigating the circumstances under which the incident occurred, and so far the possibility of criminal activity has been ruled out.
According to testimonies, the 48 -year -old was known as a very dear and dedicated family man, making this tragic development even more shocking to his fellow villagers.
