The perpetrator escaped and is being sought – The victim is being treated in the hospital
A bloody robbery against a remittance clerk took place on Wednesday morning in Trikala.
An unknown man had set up a cartel in the cash register located on March 25th Street and when the clerk came out of the store with the cash boxes, he attacked him. The attacker, as seen in a video document recorded by a security camera, was holding a knife, injuring the employee in the thigh, before fleeing in an unknown direction.
The mobilization of the Greek Police was immediate, with forces searching for the perpetrator throughout the city. According to the first estimates of EL.AS., this is a “professional” robber and not a random incident. The injured employee of the remittance was transferred and is being treated at the Trikala hospital.
