The international medium urges its readers “to leave Mykonos and Santorini to the crowds and to look for corners of Greece where they can enjoy history and legend in a climate of intense spirituality without crowds and among centuries-old olive trees, ancient temples, churches and monasteries.
According to the extensive dedication “h Sifnos represents the essence of the Cyclades. Nature, culture and Christianity are felt in every square meter. The island has more than 300 chapels and churches scattered among them the chapel of the Seven Martyrs where the small blue dome joins the surrounding sea. OR Naxos stands out for the true natural monuments over 600 years old. Walking here is like immersing yourself in a millennia-old history that “ties” man to the earth. At sunset, the ancient rocks of the largest island of the Cyclades create captivating visual games of light and shadow. OR Virus is Greece’s timeless place of youthful energy evolving into a sophisticated destination of history and culture. The tomb of Homer and the prehistoric settlement of Skarkos attract the international interest of travelers from all countries and ages.”
