The presenter about what the former model said about her legal dispute with Elena Christopoulou
The interview that Iliana Papageorgiou gave to Grigoris Arnautoglou was commented by Sissy Christidou, who emphasized that she does not understand the reason why the former model made this move, to talk in detail about the end of her collaboration with Elena Christopoulou.
“Seeing this quote, I felt a lump in my throat, as if I was talking to a very good friend of mine in a private conversation. I understood very well the core of Iliana’s feelings and how she might feel and I was very moved. On a second reading though, I’m trying to understand why this has to be made public and what is the agenda behind it? When you have legal, financial disputes with a person and you feel that they have cheated you, what will it give you to come out and talk and share the information? What is the agenda? Of revenge? To find my right? You will not find the truth in Grigoris Arnautoglou. Why should Iliana do this publicly?” asked Sissy Christidou.
“I wonder what you have to gain? If the purpose is not to manipulate public opinion, what is? To come out and cry on camera and tell my personal problems and how much a person has hurt me. We have all been hurt and we have something to say. We don’t go out and do it in public. When something like this happens, either you can’t get your legal right and there is a loophole – I would go to court or you want to take revenge on the other person and manipulate public opinion. You have to have some motivation. Iliana wanted to say them and I am thinking about the reason. Is the issue of how the case is proceeding legally related to the statements on television? Courts operate autonomously. Will they be affected by whether Iliana made statements and cried?” Sissy Christidou concluded.
