“When the other person is in a difficult situation, it can be even worse to see them decline”
On Friday afternoon, Smaragda Karydis was a guest on ERT’s “Studio 4” show. The actress spoke with an emotional charge for the loss of her beloved father, Dinos Karydis.
“2024 was difficult for me, strange. With the loss it was a difficult year. You go on anyway, whether you learn or you don’t. I don’t know if hard times teach you anything, it depends on how you process them. They may not even teach you anything,” she said Emerald Coconut and continued:
“Okay, so what we’re talking about (ie the loss of her father) is not a lesson you learn from. It is something bad that you always avoid, you never want the losses, but at some point it will inevitably come. It’s also normal to a point. I don’t know what loss teaches you. I don’t know, I’m not very good at talking about them, especially on TV. I don’t like sharing this at all.
At some point, when the other person is in a difficult situation, it can be even worse to see them decline. It’s definitely worse, for humans in the first place, it’s difficult. In other words, the previous one was harsher, now I avoid it and do not visit the subject”.
