On Friday and Saturday, the Police carried out special operations in Agios Dimitrios, Marousi, Heraklion, Voula and Vouliagmeni to prevent juvenile delinquency.
According to THE GREEK POLICEafter collecting, investigating and evaluating data regarding recorded repeated delinquent behaviors with minors involved in specific points, operations were planned and developed in the above areas, concentrating forces in two parks, around two shopping centers and in the surrounding area of ISAP station.
These actions were organized both to prevent the occurrence of similar phenomena and to more fully map the movements of minors in the disputed areas.
The expeditions were completed with 12 vehicle checks, 143 person checks and 14 minors arrests in the areas of the region, it was reported to APE BEE.
Police officers from the Juvenile Protection Sub-Directorate, the North-Eastern Attica Security Sub-Directorate and the South-Eastern Attica Security Sub-Directorate participated in the operations, and from the O.P.K.E. and DI.AS.
As pointed out by ELAS, similar actions will continue in the field of preventing and dealing with the phenomenon of youth crime.
