“On the street they will curse me or admire me. I’ve heard a lot of rumours. I’m laughing”
A revealing interview was given to the show “Buongiorno” by former police officer Stavros Balaskas, who invades our homes almost every day with his television appearances as a police analyst.
Stavros Balaskas revealed that although he was a good student and had studied Industrial Engineering, he succumbed to the pressures of his father who was a gendarme of the Gendarmerie and joined the Police in 1991. “On the street I will be cursed or admired. I’ve heard a lot of gossip. I’m laughing. They see me on TV being aggressive and they think I’m like that in my personal life. I’m not like that at all, I’m a kitty,” she says, laughing.
Stavros Balaskas has been married twice and has three children, whom he adores. “I adore my first wife and will adore her all my life. There was just a… twinning. We were together since we were kids. I would never divorce, but I fell deeply in love. My second wife’s name is Vana. She is very young and impressive, we are 18 years apart,” he said.
As Stavros Balaskas revealed, the two women have friendly relations and many times his ex-wife holds the child she had with Vana, in order for them to go out.
