An increase of 10.9% was presented in the eleventh month of 2023, compared to the corresponding period last year, in passenger traffic at the “Ioannis Daskalogiannis” airport, of Chania.
According to the official data of Fraport, in the eleventh month of 2023, 3,580,603 passengers were transported through Chania airport, compared to 3,229,335 in the same period of 2022.
From January to November 2023, 24,093 flights were carried out through Chania airport, compared to 22,728 last year (an increase of 6%).
2,816,478 passengers were transported by international flights and 764,125 passengers by domestic flights.
According to Fraport data, in November 2023, 73,661 passengers were handled by Chania airport, compared to 67,456 passengers in November 2022.
