A fire broke out in a city bus carrying passengers in the city of Chalkida on the evening of Wednesday, November 13.
According to information from evima.gr, the fire started in the bus engine, but luckily the driver acted quickly, stopped the vehicle and opened the doors, so that the passengers could get out, so that they would not be in danger. The fire was initially contained by the driver and police officers, since the incident took place opposite the Police Department.
Two fire trucks with five firefighters were dispatched to the scene, who completed the extinguishing. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
