According to what the 49-year-old reportedly said, he was paying the rent for a third party, who he declined to name.
Accompanied by a strong police force, the 49-year-old philologist, who is allegedly related to the yafka in Pagrati, and who, after his apology, was judged by the unanimous opinion of the interrogator and the prosecutor to be temporarily detained, crossed the threshold of the investigative office in the early afternoon of Tuesday, November 26.
The accused was asked to give explanations to the 19th investigator for two felonies and one misdemeanor. Specifically, the 49-year-old is facing the offenses of illegal possession of handguns, weapons, etc. with the purpose of making available for the commission of a felony, the possession of explosive materials from which a danger may arise to a person and the illegal possession of weapons. In front of the police, the defendant allegedly claimed that he did not know that there were weapons in the warehouse he was renting. And this is because, according to what the 49-year-old allegedly said, he was paying the rent for a third person, whom he however refused to name.
The accused, who had no previous involvement with the authorities, appears to have rented the warehouse in 2008 and since then has been depositing the rent for the warehouse – yafka to the owner at an ATM every two months. The last deposition, according to information, took place in the first days of November and appears to have been recorded by a security camera.
