The ship Blue Star 1 ran aground on the pier of the port of Naxos on Monday afternoon, as a result of which its departure was prohibited.
The prescribed procedure followed with an inspection of the ship, in order to determine whether it remains seaworthy and to continue its route with a delay.
The ship was running the route Thira-Naxos-Paros-Piraeus. According to information, the impact took place on the stern protector of the ship.
