Body Found Unwrapped and in Advanced Decomposition – Postmortem Ordered
The Port Authority of the island was informed this morning by a professional fisherman about the discovery of a body in the sea area of Zourvas, northeast of Hydra.
A Coast Guard patrol boat, a private diver, as well as the barge “St. Paraskevi”, with the assistance of which the body of a man, other unknown elements, was collected. The body was found naked, in advanced decay, while it was then transported from the barge accompanied by the patrol boat to the port of Metohi, Argolis.
A preliminary investigation is being carried out by the Hydra Port Authority, while the body is to be transferred to the Forensic Service of Piraeus, for a necropsy.
