What the Ministry of Labor and Social Security says
A total of 90,338,489.95 euros will be paid to 125,549 beneficiaries from 20 to 24 January 2025 as part of the scheduled payments of e-EFKA and the Public Employment Service (DYPA).
In particular, as stated by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security in its announcement:
From e-EFKA:
– on January 21, 24,538,489.95 euros will be paid to 55,624 beneficiaries for other cash benefits (maternity benefits, funeral, sickness and accident expenses) and
– from January 20 to 24, 13,000,000 euros will be paid to 700 beneficiaries following the issuance of one-off decisions.
DYPA will pay:
– 29,000,000 euros to 48,000 beneficiaries for unemployment benefits and other benefits,
– 700,000 euros to 1,000 mothers for subsidized maternity leave,
– 21,000,000 euros to 20,000 beneficiaries in the context of subsidized employment programs,
– 100,000 euros to 200 beneficiaries for the implementation of projects of a public interest nature and
– 2,000,000 euros to 25 beneficiaries of the “My Home” program.
