Known to the prosecuting authorities is the old calendar priest who was arrested on an island of Argosaronicos, after a 12-year-old complained of indecency against him.
In particular, according to the report of OPEN’s police editor, Minas Karamitrou, the priest in question “officiates” in a private monastery on the Argosaronic island in question, and this is the second time a complaint has been made against him.
In the past a 12-year-old child also described to his parents what was happening when they were away. The man entered the family home, pretending to know his parents well. However, they realized what was happening and immediately contacted the authorities and an arrest warrant was issued shortly after.
He had already been prosecuted for a complaint made by the 12-year-old child and the case is in the Court of Justice and is pending before the Court of Appeal. Now, the outcome of the new case is also awaited.
