Meeting Pascal Donahios with Kyriakos Pierrakakis in an excellent climate
With particularly warm words about the course of Greek economy and the new leadership of the Ministry of National Economy and Finance, the Irish Minister of Finance and President of the National Economy and Finance. Mr Donahiou openly expressed his confidence in the prospects of the Greek economy and in the management of this political leadership. He also said his belief that the positive dynamics of recent years will continue, giving credit to his Greek counterpart for his dynamic start.

And he added that “I am now sure that the remarkable progress that the Greek people and the Greek economy have noticed in recent years will continue under the leadership of the new finance minister.”
At the same time, he expressed his pleasure for renewing their cooperation and underlined the importance of this year for Ireland-Greece bilateral relations, as 50 years of diplomatic ties between the two states were completed. “It’s great to be here to renew our common work,” he said.
For his part, Mr. Pierrakakis thanked Mr. Donahiou for his presence, noting that “it is great that you are here and we look forward to discussing and presenting our work, hoping to make your observation for progress even more intense”.
