The turnover reached 77.09 million euros
Stock prices closed down in today’s session Stock Exchange, following yesterday’s strong rally as investors took short-term profits, driving the market below 1,190. Turnover also moved to lower levels.
The General Price Index closed at 1,185.24 points, down 0.95%.
Intra-sessionally it recorded a higher price at 1,199.65 points (+0.26%) and a lower price at 1,184.34 points (-1.02%).
The value of transactions amounted to 77.09 million euros, while 17,603,103 shares were traded.
The large-cap index fell 0.96%, while the mid-cap index fell 0.40%.
Of the large capitalization shares, the biggest increase was recorded by the shares of PPA (+5.33%), Motor Oil (+0.71%) and Jumbo (+0.46%).
On the contrary, the biggest fall was recorded by the shares of EYDAP (-3.36%), Alpha Bank (-3.33%), Ellactor (-3.07%), Sarantis (-2.85%) and Piraeus (-2.61%).
Of the individual indices, the Health (+1.03%) and Personal Products (+0.42%) indices recorded the biggest increase, while the Financial Services indices (-2.84%) recorded the biggest losses. of Raw Materials (-1.89%) and Banks (-1.75%).
The largest volume of transactions was presented by Alpha Bank and Eurobank, trading 6,137,492 and 2,411,022 shares, respectively.
The highest transaction value was recorded by the National Company with 10.71 million euros.
35 stocks moved up, 60 down and 18 remained stable.
The biggest increase was recorded by the shares: Vidavo +9.91% and Frigoglass +6.15%.
The biggest drop was registered by the shares: Eliketos -9.72% and Ekter -4.30%.
