The turnover is only at 74.95 million euros
Share prices moved downwards, with low turnover, in today’s session Stock Exchange, with the market retreating towards the levels of 1,170 units, amid downward movement in the European markets as well. The market moved lower after three bullish sessions, during which the main stock index had recorded strong gains of 6.39%.
The General Price Index closed at 1,169.66 points, down 1.07%. Intra-sessionally it recorded a lower price at 1,160.85 points (-1.82%).
On a weekly basis, the main stock market index registered a rise of 2.88%, while since the beginning of the year it has recorded gains of 25.80%.
The value of the transactions amounted to 74.95 million euros, while 21,084,933 shares were traded.
The large-cap index fell 1.17%, while the mid-cap index fell 0.68%.
Of the high capitalization shares, the biggest increase was recorded by the shares of Ellactor (+1.49%), Sarantis (+1.28%) and ELPE (+0.80%).
On the contrary, the largest decline was recorded by the shares of Jumbo (-4.98%), Elvalhalcor (-2.57%), Piraeus (-2.56%), Lamda (-2.54%) and Viohalco (-2.16%).
Of the individual indices, the Telecommunications (+0.29%) and Technology (+0.28%) indices rose, while the biggest losses were recorded by the Personal Products (-4.49%) and Financial Services indices (-2.37%).
The largest volume of transactions was presented by Alpha Bank and Eurobank, trading 5,186,351 and 3,427,673 shares, respectively.
The largest transaction value was recorded by the National Bank with 10.95 million euros.
41 stocks moved up, 76 fell and 8 remained stable.
The biggest increase was recorded by the shares: Chaidemenos +6.03% and Kyriakoulis +5.59%.
The biggest drop was registered by the shares: ELBE -8.93% and Fieratex -6.00%.
