The turnover reached 145.51 million euros
Stock prices moved upwards in today’s session Stock Exchange, with the market yes breaking upwards and 1,390 units and “seeing” towards the levels of 1,400 units, closing at highs of almost 13 years.
The market has completed five bullish sessions during which the main stock index recorded a total gain of 3.33%, while since the beginning of the year it has gained 7.95%.
The General Price Index closed at 1,395.99 points, marking an increase of 0.79%.
It is the highest close since the May 3, 2011 session (1,412.84 points).
Intra-sessionally it recorded a higher price at 1,397.57 units (+0.91%).
The value of the transactions amounted to 145.51 million euros, while 36,796,626 shares were traded.
The large-cap index rose 0.96%, while the mid-cap index gained 0.30%.
Of the high capitalization shares, the biggest increase was recorded by the shares of Eurobank (+4.40%), Sarantis (+3.71%), Ellactor (+3.17%), Piraeus (+2.36 %), of ELPE (+2.17%), Viohalco (+2.02%) and Alpha Bank (+1.90%).
On the contrary, the biggest drop was recorded by the shares of EYDAP (-1.895) and Terna Energy (-0.27%).
The largest volume of transactions was presented by Eurobank and Alpha Bank, trading 10,446,333 and 9,046,045 shares, respectively.
The highest value of transactions was recorded by Eurobank with 19.64 million euros and Piraeus with 18.99 million euros.
63 stocks moved up, 46 down and 19 remained stable.
The biggest increase was recorded by the shares: Attica Participations +7.46% and Vioter +7.14%.
The biggest drop was registered by the shares: Kyriakoulis -5.58% and Kordellos Brothers -3.93%.
