At 126.11 million the turnover reached euros
Share prices moved higher in the first session of the week, with the market surpassing the resistance of 1,420 points, amid positive sentiment in the European markets.
At the center of investment interest, from the high capitalization shares, was the share of Alpha Bank (+4.76%), after Friday’s strong rise (+5.37%).
Its General Price Index Stock Exchange closed at 1,428.40 points, the highest since the October 21 session, up 1.08%.
The value of transactions amounted to 126.11 million. euros, of which 29.8 million euros concerned transactions in packages, while a total of 38,415,783 shares were traded.
The large-cap index gained 1.12%, while the mid-cap index gained 1.06%.
Of the large-cap stocks, the biggest gains were recorded by the shares of Alpha Bank (+4.76%), Viohalco (+2.12%), PPA (+2.04%) and Coca Cola HBC (+ 2.01%).
On the contrary, the biggest fall was recorded by the shares of Sarantis (-2.525), Ellaktor (-0.56%) and Eurobank (-0.49%).
The largest volume of transactions was presented by Alpha Bank and Eurobank, trading 14,051,136 and 12,307,466 shares, respectively.
The highest transaction value was recorded by Alpha Bank with 21.50 million. euros and Eurobank with 19.04 million euro.
64 stocks moved up, 36 fell and 18 remained stable.
The biggest increase was recorded by the shares: Mermeren +8.17% and Iktinos +7.05%
The biggest drop was registered by the shares: Akritas -5.63% and Nafpaktos Textiles -5.52%.
