Stock prices closed at slightly lower levels in the last session of the week, while transactions also moved at lower levels.
The General Price Index closed at 1,258.73 points, marking a small decline of 0.14%. Intra-sessionally it recorded a lower price at 1,251.50 units (-0.72%) and a higher price at 1,262.42 units (+0.15%).
On a weekly basis, the main stock market index registered a rise of 0.66%, while since the beginning of the year it has recorded gains of 35.38%.
The value of the transactions amounted to 64.210 million euros, while 17,755,169 shares were traded.
The large-cap index fell 0.15%, while the mid-cap index gained 0.47%.
Of the large capitalization shares, the biggest increase was recorded by the shares of Eurobank (+0.88%), OTE (+0.85%) and Motor Oil (+0.76%).
On the contrary, the biggest drop was recorded by the shares of Quest Participations (-2.82%), Sarantis (-1.59%), Ellaktor (-1.32%), Jumbo (-1.20%) and ELPE (-1.15%).
Of the individual indices, the largest increase was recorded by the indices of Telecommunications (+0.84%) and Technology (+0.84%), while the largest losses were recorded by the indices of Health (-2.08%) and Personal Products (-1.16%).
Eurobank and Alpha Bank presented the largest volume of transactions, trading 4,193,916 and 2,757,549 shares, respectively.
The highest value of transactions was recorded by National Bank with 13.26 million euros and Eurobank with 6.93 million euros.
46 stocks moved up, 55 down and 17 remained stable.
The biggest increase was recorded by the shares: Attica Publications +9.27% and Klukinas-Lappas +6.64%.
The biggest drop was recorded by the shares: Frigoglass -9.43% and Epilectos -7.69%.
