At 107.86 million euros the turnover
Share prices closed with significant gains in today’s session Stock Exchange, with the market returning, after five months, to the levels of 1,330 units, while the rise in prices was also accompanied by an increase in turnover.
The General Price Index closed at 1,330.61 points, marking an increase of 1.44%. It is the highest close since the session of July 31, 2023 (1,335.48 points).
The value of the transactions amounted to 107.86 million euros, while 26,824,164 shares were traded.
The large-cap index rose 1.56%, while the mid-cap index gained 1.03%.
Of the high capitalization shares, the biggest increase was recorded by the shares of Elvalhalcor (+4.50%), Viohalco (+4.14%), Jumbo (+3.84%), GEK TERNA (+3.35%) and Piraeus (+3.34%).
On the contrary, the biggest fall was recorded by the shares of EYDAP (-132%), Autohellas (-1.23%), ELPE (-0.95%) and Ellactor (-0.94%).
The largest volume of transactions was presented by Eurobank and Alpha Bank, trading 5,194,407 and 4,743,358 shares, respectively.
The highest value of transactions was recorded by Nthniki with 17.16 million euros and Piraeus with 10.33 million euros.
61 stocks moved up, 48 down and 20 remained stable.
The biggest increase was recorded by the shares: Minerva +29.25% and Moda Bango +11.68%.
The biggest drop was registered by the shares: Mermeren -5.86% and Trastor -5.51%.
