The General Price Index closed at 1,362.05 points, recording a gain of 0.66%
Stock prices recorded upward trends in today’s Stock Exchange session, with the market breaking upwards and the levels of 1,360 units, closing at 10-year highs, amidst a positive climate in international markets.
The General Price Index closed at 1,362.05 points, marking an increase of 0.66%. It is the highest close since the March 20, 2014 session (1,363.30 points).
The value of transactions amounted to 110.31 million euros, while 22,603,281 shares were traded. The large-cap index rose 0.62%, while the mid-cap index gained 0.85%.
Of the high capitalization shares, the biggest increase was recorded by the shares of Aegean Airlines (+3.52%), Titan (+2.65%), OTE (+2.15%) and OPAP (+2. 06%).
On the contrary, the biggest fall was recorded by the shares of EYDAP (-2.16%), Lamda Development (-1.20%), Quest Participations (-0.91%) and PPA (-0.61%).
The largest volume of transactions was presented by Eurobank and Alpha Bank, trading 5,400,657 and 3,152,295 shares, respectively.
Piraeus with 9.85 million euros and Mytileneos with 9.56 million euros recorded the highest value of transactions.
69 stocks moved up, 41 fell and 17 remained stable.
The biggest increase was recorded by the shares: Frigoglass +9.46% and Lavipharm +7.32%.
The biggest drop was registered by the shares: Xylemporia(p) -7.29% and Reds -4.07%.
