Mild upward trends prevailed in the stock market, in the last session of the week, against the bearish climate of the European markets.
Since the high capitalization, the investment interest was focused on the shares of Alpha Bank, Eurobank and Ellactor.
The General Price Index closed at 1,413.13 points, marking an increase of 0.33%. Intra-sessionally it recorded a higher price at 1,415.83 units (+0.52%).
On a weekly basis, the main stock market index recorded a rise of 1.63%, while since the beginning of the year it has recorded gains of 9.28%.
The value of transactions amounted to 137.77 million. euros, while 43,494,104 shares were traded.
The large-cap index rose 0.75%, while the mid-cap index gained 0.14%.
Of the high capitalization shares, the biggest increase was recorded by the shares of Alpha Bank (+5.37%), Ellaktor (+3.49%), Eurobank (+2.87%), PPA (+2, 44%) and Piraeus (+2.09%).
On the contrary, the largest decline was recorded by the shares of Ethniki (-1.49%), OTE (-1.32%) and ELPE (-1.09%).
The largest volume of transactions was presented by Alpha Bank and Eurobank, trading 14,662,848 and 13,695,925 shares, respectively.
The highest value of transactions was recorded by National with 31.64 million. euros and Eurobank with 27.92 million euro.
38 stocks moved up, 51 fell and 30 remained stable.
The biggest increase was recorded by the shares: Premia +6.51% and Alpha Bank +5.37%.
