Traffic has been restored on the entire Metro Line 2
The threatening email sent this morning to the ELAS Headquarters and warning of the placement of explosive devices in central parts of Athens turned out to be a hoax.
In particular, the email, which was written in English, stated that bombs would explode at the KAT hospital, at the Athens Court of Appeal on Loukareos Street, and at the Syntagma metro.
During the checks carried out at the above points by the ELAS Explosive Ordnance Disposal Department, nothing suspicious was found.
Finally, traffic has been restored to the entire Metro Line 2. By order of the Police, according to information from STASY, the trains stop again at “Syntagma” station.
