Demand at major travel agency TUI for these destinations has increased this year
Two Greek destinations are in the top preferences of TUI’s Swedish customers, who are looking for autumn getaways, which are a trend this year as well, since the major tour operator recorded a 12% increase in bookings compared to the same period last year.
Rhodes and Crete are among the five most popular destinations for TUI’s Swedish customers for this autumn and in fact the demand for Crete shows a record rise since last year, as has the corresponding one for Majorca and Turkey. The most popular destination is Gran Canaria in Spain, followed by Larnaca in Cyprus, Tenerife in Spain and the two Greek islands.
According to the tour operator, cited by the tornosnews.grmuch of TUI’s charter departures this autumn are full and there are few empty seats on only a few departures. TUI Communications Director Dian Martinez Valencia points out that charter departures are averaging 90% occupancy, with most flights this weekend and early next week being full.
