The elderly man is being treated out of danger
The perpetrator who, on the afternoon of Tuesday, November 26, attacked with screwdriver and wounded a 73-year-old man, in the area of Ano Polis, at Thessaloniki.
The bloody episode happened at around 19:00, when the 73-year-old man was with his 8-year-old granddaughter on Mouson Street and then the perpetrator of the attack verbally harassed the victim’s granddaughter.
An argument ensued and then the man, aged about 50, who, according to information, appears to be suffering from psychiatric problems, injured the elderly man with a screwdriver in front of the child and then turned to smoke.
The elderly man was transported by EKAV ambulance to Papageorgiou Hospital, where he is hospitalized out of danger.
