Toxicology tests are clear and molecular testing is awaited to determine if there is a genetic predisposition.
New evidence is coming to light about the death of the two infants in Kato Achaia, following the results of the histopathological examinations carried out on the first infant.
According to information broadcast by the Star’s midday news bulletin, the histopathological examination concerning the 19-day-old infant has already been handed over to the forensic service of Patras and to the medical examiner who performed the autopsy on October 20 and “shows” a respiratory infection.
Toxicology tests are clear and molecular testing is awaited to determine if there is a genetic predisposition. It is recalled that the first child “passed away” in June 2022. The mother was alone at home and found the baby unconscious. He called an ambulance and the child arrived at the Health Center. There the doctors proceeded with CPR to no avail.
