The application platform will be activated in January
The agreement for the second cycle of the “Tourism for All” program was signed yesterday by the Minister of Tourism, Olga Kefalogiannis.
According to the announcement, the new cycle of the program, which is on track for implementation, will utilize increased resources, as the unused funds of the previous cycle will be added to the new program, as foreseen by a recent provision of the law brought by the Ministry of Tourism.
Furthermore, will concern more potential beneficiaries, as the income criteria are expanded, while new, sensitive social groups, such as those with many children, are added to the beneficiaries who will receive an enhanced amount. At the same time, the amount that all drawn beneficiaries will receive will be increased compared to the 1st cycle.
The application platform will be activated in January and the program will be spread over the next two winter seasons, so that the demand from Greek citizens can be extended to the mountainous regions of the country.
The new cycle of the program has a strong social sign, but at the same time developmental in terms of sustainability, that is, in accordance with the new strategy of Greek tourism, for fair tourism development with moderation and balance.
