The mother of Akis and the 18-year-old breaks out – “The driver was a 16-year-old, they are covering for him”
The mother of the 20-year-old who was killed in a traffic accident in Agrinio and his 18-year-old sister who was on the bike and is recovering in the ICU is “breaking” their hearts.
“I buried one child and the other one is fighting,” he declared with tears in his eyes while speaking on the “Truths with Zina” show. She also appealed to the Ministry of Health through the broadcast, to transfer her daughter from the Agrini General Hospital to another hospital, in order to provide her with the best possible treatment and care. “Please help me! Help me!” said the mother in despair.
At the same time, she is asking for justice in memory of her child, with the exemplary punishment of the driver involved in the traffic accident. In fact, she maintains that the man who was arrested is not to blame for the accident. “The driver was a 16-year-old, who is covering for him,” he said characteristically. However, this does not appear from the evidence that the Police have in their possession.
The 20-year-old Akis died in an instant, in a traffic accident that occurred at the junction of Megali Chora in Agrinio. On the fateful night he went for a walk with his younger sister, but unfortunately they did not return home. The machine they were on collided with a vehicle driven by a 37-year-old Roma man. Inside the car were his wife and their children.
The conflict was fierce, with Akis losing his life instantly, while the whole family prays that his sister will be saved.
