A graphic designer, her permanent employee ERT and one journalist were suspended from public broadcasting. The reason is the falsification of the KKE symbol on the card broadcast with the party’s New Year’s message.

For this unimaginable incident, which caused the justified reaction of many people who watched the specific ERT bulletin, the Press Office of the KE of the KKE proceeded with an immediate protest to ERT receiving the answer that it concerns a mistake during the creation of the relevant video, as instead of pulling the KKE emblem from ERT’s graphics archive, it was casually pulled from online sources and then ERT edited the video for the next releases. In addition, he received the assurances that all measures will be taken to ensure that the specific video with the falsified emblem does not exist on its online media, and also to ensure that it is not repeated.
