Who are the beneficiaries
Two important reinforcement programs businessaiming for both the creation of new and the strengthening of existing businesses by NSRF The Region of Western Macedonia is implemented.
Through these actions, it seeks to support local entrepreneurship, increase competitiveness and enhance economic activity in the region. The programs cover a wide range of investment projects, providing high subsidy rates and emphasizing critical areas such as tourism, technology and innovation. Interested parties may apply, in accordance with the conditions set out in the invitations.
More specifically, as stated in an informative note by Consulting Company Anodos Consulting, the program “Business Starting in the Region of Western Macedonia” has a total budget of 4.2m euros and aims to support young people and under the recommendation of very small, small and medium -sized enterprises operating or will be active in the Region of Western Macedonia. The amount of investment projects ranges from EUR 15,000 to EUR 200,000, with a 70% subsidy on general expenditure and 80% on staff costs. Investment implementation must be completed within 24 months from the date of approval.
Beneficiary They are businesses set up after 1/1/2022 or are to be set up after the application, they have no more than two full management uses, have an eligible CAD of CAD before the notice and have the ability to cover at least 25% of the equity costs. A prerequisite is to operate legally and not to relate to public enterprises, local authorities or organized distribution networks. In addition, individual businesses cannot have the home of the owner as their headquarters.
The program covers the costs of staff, equipment, means of transport, building infrastructure, consultants, software, promotion, as well as research and development. Particular care is taken for tourism businesses, as hotel accommodation requires at least 3 -star rankings and a minimum capacity of 8 beds, while the rooms require a 3 keys category and a minimum capacity of 10 beds. The application period will begin with the publication of the invitation.
The action “Business Recovery in the Region of Western Macedonia”
The action “Business Recovery in the Region of Western Macedonia” aims to strengthen existing, very small, small and medium -sized enterprises operating or will be active in the Region of Western Macedonia. Its total budget is € 7.8 million, with the aim of increasing business competitiveness and improving their market position. Investment plans can range from € 25,000 to 300,000 euros, with a 70% subsidy and 80% on staff costs.
Beneficiaries are businesses that have been established before 1/1/2022, have at least two complete closed management uses and have submitted tax returns for the years 2022 and 2023. Businesses must have specific legal forms, have eligible CADs and ensure the availability of at least 25%. For sole proprietors, the place of implementation of the investment cannot be the beneficiary’s residence.
Eligible expenses include staff (up to 18,000 euros per EM), equipment, buildings, services, software, promotion and indirect costs. Special conditions apply to the tourism sector, where accommodation is required in at least three stars or three keys. Public businesses, local bodies and offshore companies are excluded.
The implementation of investment must be completed within 24 months of integration into the program, while the submissions period will be announced by the publication of the invitation.
