The actress described what happened after the New Year’s Eve, where she was with her daughter and father. “It was an unfortunate moment. We had just left the revue and I was stopped by the traffic police in Omonia. The legal limit was 31 and I was at 33. The policeman was absolutely correct, explaining to me that even this small difference can cause an accident. Although I felt fine, I had drunk a little too much. He then emphasized the importance of following the rules, saying: “They were absolutely right. It was the first time that this happened to me, and I felt that we function as a modern society. It is important to know that when we drink, we should avoid driving, because we cannot calculate our limits correctly. Especially young people should be especially careful. I was wrong, I admit it, and the fine was severe, over 800 euros. If there is no sober person to drive, they also take away your car. This is the right thing to do.”
The actress concluded, sending a clear message: “We have to take our responsibilities. It is unacceptable that so many lives are being lost on the streets. I’m a bad example to avoid, and that’s why I’m sharing it. Let’s be more responsible and careful.”
