“I might have put on 15 kilos, I didn’t weigh myself and I didn’t even care”
The guest on “The 2Night Show” on Monday (14/10) was Vicky Crab. The impressive actress spoke to Grigoris Arnautoglou about the change that motherhood brought to her life, while she described the moments in the hospital during the birth of her daughter with Giorgos Tzavellas.
“Everyone tells me that I’m sweet on the face. I didn’t have a very easy pregnancy, but it wasn’t anything extreme either. They worried me before but in the end it wasn’t like that. No relationship. He’s a very good child, he sleeps, he doesn’t whine,” Vicky Kavoura initially said.
“Georgos knew I was pregnant, I didn’t. He tells me: let’s do an examination. Just for fun, we went and I was shocked. I didn’t expect that. When my gynecologist congratulated me on the phone, I ask her: why are you congratulating me? You are pregnant, she tells me. And I closed it for her. I took my time and called her back,” the actress described of how she found out about her pregnancy.
“I had an accident on stage, the show stopped and I stayed at home. I got hyperemesis gravidarum. I may have put on 15 kilos, I didn’t weigh myself and I didn’t even care. I was eating things until the 7th month that I never ate. Lentils, spinach rice for breakfast and kayana with feta cheese. I ate at least half a watermelon a day,” continued Vicky Kavoura.
“I went to the hospital because I had a discomfort. They tell me: you are giving birth now. Thank God everything went well. I gave birth by caesarean section. I remember walking into the operating room girl, telling all the midwives that I was scared. As soon as I saw her under the light, the first thing I thought is that she looks like me, and then I was not afraid of anything. You come out different”, says Vicky Kavoura at another point for the birth of her daughter.
