Elon Musk’s statement that he wants to make Platform X (formerly Twitter) the ultimate app for the average internet user, including phone and video calling, hides a… pitfall.
According to code spotted in the latest version of the app, these two features will soon be supported on the platform, but they will only be available to paying and active X Premium subscribers! Those who do not have a subscription and try to make a call will see a related message, saying that they have to pay.
The reactions on social media are already enough and it remains to be seen how the public will react to this new decision by Elon Musk’s team.
