“We’re about halfway through the draft. We have a story we like and we know where we want to take it. I’m going to try to get her some international travel and maybe that’s the only thing I’ll add. I’m hoping to earn some air miles from it,” he said.
Warner Bros. appears to have already locked in December 17, 2027 for an untitled family film, leaving open the possibility that it could be “Wonka 2.”
According to World of Reel, Timothée Salamee is expected to start filming “Dune: Messiah” in the first half of 2026so ‘Wonka 2’ will probably take over next.
